Phil Rice

Founder | CEO

Phil's life has been all about small business and entrepreneurship since the 80s. He's opened tons of successful businesses, one after the other. With a diploma in finance and certificates in business law, accounting, economics, and communications, plus an Australian Credit License and qualifications as a Certified Professional Business Advisor, Phil is the real deal when it comes to running businesses.

Phil started a retail career at Coles and worked his way up to assistant store manager. On the side, he started a DJ/MC entertainment business that he still dabbles in today. He also bought one of the biggest Tandy Electronics retail franchises in Adelaide, then changed careers to finance and joined Aussie Home Loans. After 2 years, he moved on to BankSA as a senior lending manager/business development, where he also started buying, renovating, and flipping houses while still working. After 7 years at BankSA, he left to join Century 21 Real Estate, where he developed and rolled out their new finance arm. He's also opened EZFinance, a national finance brokerage firm, EZ Finance Commercial, a national commercial finance firm, Wiilson, a comprehensive online business Q&A forum, the Business Advice Agency, a national support hub for SMEs, and Better Business Coach, Australia's first national regulated business coaching enterprise.

Phil's mentored over 70 staff members and finance brokers and he loves nothing more than helping business owners get better results from their businesses with his finance expertise and support through the Business Advice Agency. He's travelled all around Australia and has a massive love for all kinds of music.

Noel Currie

General Manager

Noel has been killing it in the business and real estate game for over 30 years. He's a straight up expert in business sales, commercial and residential real estate, and has a ton of knowledge about business, sales, marketing, and people. He's also been a successful business owner, starting and running all sorts of companies and holding a variety of corporate positions.

Noels qualifications are extensive and include Certified Professional Business Advisor (CPBA), Member of REIQ, Fellow of Australian Institute of Business Brokers (AIBB), Fellow of American Institute of Business Brokers (AIBB), Member of Small Business Association of AU (SBAA), Business and Communications Certificate.

Noel is known for his honesty and integrity and has worked with over 1,500 business owners across Australia in the past 20 years, with businesses ranging from $20,000 to $20 million. He's always ready to share his wisdom with business owners who are looking for guidance, whether they want to get their business ready for exit or sale, or just want to improve its performance.

Kris Zelkas

Head of Marketing

Kris may not have a cape, but he's saving the world one successful business at a time! With over 17 years of experience in online marketing roles, Kris has a track record of success in building and scaling businesses online. His focus is on delivering key outcomes for his clients and helping them achieve their goals through disruptive and innovative technology.

Throughout his career, Kris has excelled at the execution of big ideas and has a strong gut instinct that is backed by data-driven decision making. He has also proven his ability to lead and grow teams, ranging in size from 5 to over 5,000 people. In addition to his strong professional skills in areas such as online marketing, lead generation, SEO, social media marketing, graphic design and video production, Kris is also passionate about personal development and constantly seeks out new learning opportunities to refine and improve himself and those around him.

Kris studied Business & Economics and has completed additional education in areas such as screen and media, electronic music production as well as multiple disciplines in the field of Sales, Marketing and innovation.

He is also proud to have served his country as a member of the Australian Army, earning the Australian Service Defence Medal for his deployments. When he is not busy building businesses or defending his country, you can find him exploring the great Aussie outback.
